Sometime while you are operating under Windows 10, you might get everything cleaned up, with a message “You’ve been signed in with a temporary profile“. Well do not panic. This can be easily resolved using a single piece of software, along with a single command ( might not be needed).
The reason for this can be the corrupted user’s profile file and the linkage between your data folder and profile is broken. As a result, Operating system tries to create a temporary profile which let you operate even if the profile is corrupted. But in order to bring your profile back to life, you need to do something else too.
Step 1: Enable Administrator account (If you already have administrator account enabled, ignore this step).
- Press Windows and x key together on your desktop screen.
- Click on Command Prompt (admin).
- Type: net user administrator /active: yes
Note: Please follow the same steps and type net user administrator /active: no to disable admin account after the troubleshooting is done
Step 2: Now login with your Administrator account
Step 3: Download Reprofiler Software and install it.
Step 4: Now open Reprofiler and select your profile from Host list, and profile folder from Data folder list.
Step 5: Click on Assign. After that you will see a terminal window open and doing some nasty stuffs. After it finishes, restart your PC and login again (with your previously broken account).
